Financial Aid Reminder & Updates

We hope you're having a successful start to the academic year at Ohio State ATI. As we approach the middle of our semester, I wanted to remind you about important financial aid updates and deadlines to ensure you have the resources you need for your education.

1. Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress is crucial to continue receiving financial aid. To remain eligible, please remember to:
Maintain a minimum GPA of 1.8 for first-year students by the end of the spring semester or for second-year students a 2.0 by the end of the spring semester Successfully completed at least 67% of attempted coursework.
Ensure that your coursework aligns with your declared major.
Complete your degree program within the maximum timeframe allowed.

2. Ohio State ATI Scholarship Opportunities We are excited to announce that the Ohio State ATI Scholarship application period is opening soon (October 1). These scholarships are designed to support your academic journey, and various opportunities are available. Keep an eye on your Ohio State email and the Ohio State ATI website for updates on the application. Don't miss the chance to apply for these valuable scholarships.
You can also explore scholarships through ScholarshipUniverse The university offers hundreds of scholarships with a wide variety of eligibility criteria. To apply each year, file the FAFSA and create a profile in ScholarshipUniverse by the priority date of February 1.

3. FAFSA Changes
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is changing for the 2024-2025 academic year. Make sure you are aware of the most recent updates to the FAFSA process. Keep in mind that FAFSA submissions are essential for determining your eligibility for federal financial aid, grants, and loans. The application for the FAFSA will not open this year until after December 1. The priority deadline for Ohio State this year will be February 15.
