  1. Fully Vaccinated Crew Shirt Distribution

    As a thank you for doing your part to protect yourself, your loved ones and the community, we are giving out Vaccination Crew shirts to students who show proof they are fully vaccinated. Shirts will be distributed at the SAC during the dates and times below, while supplies last. Make sure you bring your vaccination card or a photo of your card to get your shirt!

  5. Mike Posner: Unplugged

    Date: Monday, November 1, 2021, 7 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

    Mike Posner: Unplugged is a live, in-person event featuring a speech and acoustic performance by Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer Mike Posner.

    Posner is best known for his hits "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" and "Cooler than Me."

    He has also co-written songs and collaborated with artists such as Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, and Avicii.

    Outside his music career, Posner has embarked on incredible and momentous journeys. In April 2019, he began his walk across the United States and finished in October 2019. Then, in June 2021, Posner climbed Mount Everest in support of the Detroit Justice Center.

  14. ENGAGE: Earning Trust in Gene Editing (Student Professional Development)

    ENGAGE: Earning Trust in Gene Editing Student Professional Development Event

    Consumers are asking questions about gene editing. Are you prepared to respond? Join the Center for Food Integrity and the Ohio Soybean Council (OSC) for a FREE educational session on Thursday, November 11th from 9:00-12:30 in the Wooster Science Building classroom 175A  that will help you communicate about gene-editing in a relatable way that resonates with the general public. The tips and tools you will learn during this 3-hour, interactive session can also be utilized for other topics that you are likely to encounter as a representative of modern agriculture.

    CFI has conducted similar workshops all over the country for a wide variety of audiences. OSC is bringing this training to The Ohio State University at no cost to you.

My specialties are biology(1113) and chemistry(1110,1210), but I can also help with rural sociology, agricultural communications, and math classes up to 1149 (trigonometry). I am open to help through zoom or through face to face meetings depending on what you are comfortable with and which learning style works best for you; I’ll be there to help!
