Photovoice is an artistic tool used to amplify a community’s voice regarding a particular subject, cause or issue through photographic images with captions written by the photographers.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we would like community members of Wayne and Holmes Counties to help OneEighty’s Community Outreach Team commemorate this important month by contributing to our Photovoice Project, which will be launched in early May with both public and online photo galleries. The subject is mental health. Please send us one or multiple photos, each with a caption that relates your personal experience with or perception of mental health struggles, mental wellness, or mental health stigma. This may include - but is not limited to - mental illness and recovery, substance use and recovery, domestic or dating violence, sexual assault, other trauma, or self-care.
