We are getting excited now!! Only a few short weeks till classes begin.
With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic affecting us all, OSU/ATI is encouraging all students to purchase your textbooks online through our campus bookstore, for home delivery, before you arrive to campus. This will ensure that you get your required books in a timely manner, while keeping you safe, as large crowds typically visit our bookstore at the beginning of each semester.
Once you have registered for classes, you can easily purchase your textbooks online at the OSU-ATI Bookstore. After ordering, please choose to have them shipped. For peace of mind, the OSU/ATI Bookstore provides a full refund for any unwanted Fall 2020 textbooks through Sept 1st.

Horticulture and Crop Science Greenhouses Open Position!
Greenhouse Research Assistant - OARDC
Maintaining equipment and greenhouses in the Horticulture and Crop Science Department on the OARDC campus: 1. Plant, water, fertilizes, and maintains greenhouse plants per specifications for each research project 2. Prepares soil mixes; mixes and applies fertilizers 3. Install and maintains irrigation systems; participates in designing modification and/or adaptations to irrigation system to meet specific needs. 4. Help take down and hang new lights 5. Cleans and maintains greenhouse and growth chamber facilities(sweeping and hosing greenhouse rooms and hallways, washing pots, dumping trash) 6. Integrated pest management (IPM) in existing crop-protection techniques and strategies to control pests and disease. - The ability to work as part of a group or independently - The ability to perform basic computing tasks involving word processors and spreadsheets - Must be reliable, responsible and hard working.

We are currently seeking a student(s) to help during the week and weekends. Schedule is flexible. Help is needed with milking 50 - 60 Registered Jerseys in a double 6 Herring Bone Parlor, scraping the freestall barn and feeding calves. Also the possibility of mixing feed depending on experience with tractors. Looking to start someone around August 17. Experience is a plus but not necessary.
Wages would be $10/hr. We are located about 15 – 20 minutes from ATI.
