Operation Valentine's Day sends cards to military members deployed overseas. Writing stations will be available in the Learning Lab and the Library. Letters will be delivered to Stow City Hall at the end of January.
Send a handwritten letter, note or handmade card. Envelopes are not required.
- Keep your cards to a size of 8 1/2″ x 11″ or under.
- Cards cannot include glitter, food or candy.
- You can include your school, church or organization’s name, address and email on each card so recipients can write back. Cards from children must include a first name only.
- Photos of the sender, the sender’s family, church, or classroom can be included.
- Keep messages positive and start with a salutation, such as “Dear Hero.”
- Do not put individual Valentines in sealed envelopes.
